Gabby Davidson
Designing Her Future
Design Student Finds Her Inspiration at ĢƵ College.
It can take a few attempts to get it right. Gabby Davidson explored a couple of career paths before following her true passion at ĢƵ College. Now she’s about to graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Design.
Even as a child, Davidson loved anything related to drawing and design. When she entered the design program at ĢƵ she knew she’d found her match.
Davidson says the program itself offers the freedom and flexibility to work on her own projects, while providing free access to software like Adobe Creative Suite, which otherwise can be expensive to purchase.
Her advice to anyone looking to follow in her footsteps is to “just go for it…you’ll be surprised by what you can accomplish.” She says the program has pushed her ideas and she’s learned about herself as a designer.
