a massive renovation, tourism infrastructure has experienced enormous growth in a
short period of time.
To support this growth, Seattle and surrounding areas are in desperate need of passionate
individuals to work in the Hospitality and Tourism sector. This means more internships,
jobs, and careers at higher wages than ever before.

numerous emphasis areas for you to pursue your personal passions. These emphasis areas

- Our shorter certificates (19 credits or less) can help build your skills and expand your employment options. Many of these certificates have courses that apply to multiple certificates and can be "stacked," allowing you to earn multiple certificates at the same time.
- The (52 credits) prepares students to enter immediately into industry career pathways.
- Students can continue on to complete an (92 credits).
The Hospitality & Tourism Management Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree is transferable to many bachelor's degree programs. Students earning our AAS would also earn the one-year certificate. Community members can also earn a short-term certificate without pursuing an AAS Degree or a Hospitality & Tourism Management Certificate.

Students completing the program will be empathetic critical thinkers, understand all HOST stakeholder groups, and be prepared for a successful career in management.
