Allied Health Degrees

• Note: Education students who are college math ready should take the 5 cr. Math& 107 or 111.

Most Humanities and Social Science Fields

Psychology Degrees

• Note: Math& 146 may be taken as an elective.

If it is FALL QUARTER and you have completed Math& 152, you have two options:

If it is FALL QUARTER and you have NOT completed Math& 152:

If it is WINTER QUARTER and you have not completed Math& 152:

• Note 1: For students who have completed Math& 152 or 163, the recommended order for taking 200-level courses is Math 230 (F), Math 220 (W), and Math 264 (Sp). Further, after Math& 152, students may take more than one math class in a quarter.
• Note 2: Following Math& 152, you may choose between Math 163, Math 220, and Math 230. However, Math& 163 is a prerequisite to Math& 264.

The Exploratory Pathway

For students who are NOT interested in STEM, we recommend exploration through Math& 146: Statistics. For students who MAY be interested in STEM, we encourage beginning down the STEM calculus pathway of Math 141 → 142 → 151. Please speak to your advisor to confirm the best choices for your interests and background.
